The Manly Sea Eagles are set to lose playmaker Daly Cherry-Evans after they withdrew a bid for the in-demand halfback.
Manly failed to meet the Monday deadline which means he is unlikely to re-sign with the team he won the premiership with back in 2011.
This adds to the list of players who have already left or are set to leave the club, with Anthony Watmough and Glenn Stewart lining up for new clubs this week. As of last week, Kieran Foran is set to join Watmough at Parramatta.
The Gold Coast Titans and Cronulla Sharks have both reported interest in signing the Queensland and Australian representative, and Cherry-Evans has even been spotted house hunting in those areas.
The 26-year-old has played over 100 games for the Northern Beaches side since his debut in 2011.
If a deal is completed he will not leave the club until after the end of this season.
