NSW Police have charged two men after they found $70 000 cash and 150kg of white powder, believed to be methamphetamine, in their car.
Police stopped the men, aged 62 and 28, on Monday night in Pyrmont.
Both men were taken to Surry Hills Police station and charged with dealing an indictable number of illegal drugs and using money from illegal drug sales.
Police then carried out a search of the 28-year-old’s home in Ultimo where they found 14g of white powder, in this case, believed to be heroin, as well as $100 000 in cash.
Both men were granted bail and are set to appear in court on Monday, November 26, and Tuesday, November 27. – Alison Thompson
