Police have released photos of a watch found beside a human skeleton in Brooklyn last week. The remains were found at the base of a cliff by a woman bushwalking with her son.
The police have appealed for anyone who recognises the watch to come forward.
“We are hopeful someone who has a missing loved one will recognise this watch and get the closure they deserve,” Detective Inspector Ian Mitchell of Ku-ring Gai command said. – Melina Morry
Man of 83 charged with child sex assault
An 83-year old Sydney man charged with grooming and indecent sexual assault has appeared in Parramatta local court today.
Police charged him after a 15-year-old girl reported that he had paid her and another girl money then indecently assaulted them.
The man faced charges of indecent assault of a person under 16 years and procuring a child under 16 for unlawful sexual activity. – Cassandra Sabin
Second person charged over Entrance assault
Police have made a second arrest over the assault of a security guard on the Central Coast on Monday.
The man was arrested in Mannering Park last night and denied bail pending a Wyong local court appearance today
Police said the man and his female companion attacked the security guard with a hammer, striking him in the head multiple times.
The security guard was admitted to Wyong hospital suffering from a broken nose and facial lacerations. – Radha Sternbeck
