The Parramatta Eels have signed Sydney Roosters and NSW Origin Centre Michael Jennings to a four-year contract.
Jennings will replace Will Hopoate, who moved to the Bulldogs to rejoin his former Manly coach Des Hasler.
Jennings told Fox Sports that he is over the moon at the move.
“It will be a new experience playing out of the home sheds at Pirtek Stadium but it’s something I’m very excited about and I can’t wait to get started.
“I have some really good mates at the club – boys I’ve grown up with – and I’m confident we can do well…”
On paper, the Eels are shaping up to have a that could be a chance to win the 2016 NRL Premiership, with Keiran Foran, Michael Gordon and the experienced Beau Scott among the resident stars.
