The Newsroom previews round 15 of the NRL, with the Parramatta Eels looking for three on the trot without five-eighth Kieran Foran.
South Sydney Rabbitohs v Parramatta Eels
The Rabbitohs face the Parramatta Eels on Friday night at ANZ Stadium. The Rabbits are missing playmakers Adam Reynolds and Greg Inglis while the Eels have lost centre Michael Jennings to Origin duties. Cody Walker and Luke Keary will make up the halves pairing for the Rabbits with Alex Johnston replacing Inglis at fullback. Tongan international Vai Toutai will replace Jennings in the Eels backline. The Rabbitohs are desperate to re-enter the winners circle and scrape into the top eight while the Eels could break into the top four with a win.
New Zealand Warriors v Sydney Roosters
The in-form Warriors take on the struggling Roosters at Mt Smart Stadium on Sunday afternoon. The Roosters have made a number of changes following their 46-0 defeat to the Melbourne Storm last week. Shaun Kenny-Dowall, Dylan Napa, Chris Smith, Isaac Liu and Joseph Manu will return to the squad. The Roosters are missing Blake Ferguson and Aidan Guerra to Origin commitments, along with Abraham Papalii, Mitchell Pearce, Boyd Cordner and Eloni Vunakece. With Shaun Johnson coming into form, the Warriors are hot favourites. Look for winger David Fusitua to cross the line after scoring four tries last week against the Knights.
Gold Coast Titans v Manly Sea Eagles
The Titans will battle the Manly Sea Eagles at CBUS Stadium on Monday night with both sides coming off narrow losses last week. The Titans will field an almost full strength squad, only missing Greg Bird for Origin. Manly will be without Dylan Walker for NSW and Nate Myles to injury but welcome Jamie Lyon, Martin Taupau and Liam Knight back into the side. Lyon’s leadership and experience will be a boost for Manly, while opposing five-eighth Tyrone Roberts has been a handful for defensive sides in recent weeks.
