After a successful stint in the hit US series Orange Is The New Black, Ruby Rose revealed on Tuesday night that she is skeptical about Australians embracing her after making it big overseas.
“I have mixed feelings about that,” she said. “There are so many talented people who worked really hard within Australia, they work their butt off and they don’t get the credit that they deserve. We wait … for them to make it overseas…
“I don’t necessarily agree with that,” she said. The 29-year-old actress, model, and DJ said she feels her decision to move overseas came at the right time. “I think people were sick of me and I think that I had done everything in Australia that I could do, like literally I had a clothing brand, a radio show, I hosted my own TV show, there wasn’t really anything I wasn’t doing.”
Rossdale’s ‘affair with Aussie nanny’ behind Stefani split
The reason Gavin Rossdale and Gwen Stefani split earlier this year was Rossdale’s three-year affair with the family nanny, an anonymous source alleged. The source said that when Stefani was giving birth to their son Apollo in 2014, Rossdale left the hospital to have sex with the nanny, Aussie ‘wild child’ Mindy Mann. The tryst was exposed when another nanny found explicit messages and photographs from Mann to Rossdale on the family iPad. It was confirmed by Stefani’s representative that she is now in a relationship with fellow Voice judge Blake Shelton.
